                        01 . What Is MapleStory?

MapleStory is a 2d game where you train to be the best.
It is a Free Online Role Playing Game.

There are different type of MapleStory.
They are:

 a Creating a characters in 5 steps

1. once you download maplestory and have an acc that is verified open up maplestory
log in and a box will appear

it will say Male on a box
click it to change what ur gender is and thats what the gender
of your character will be.

2. after that set a pin. make sure its not easy to crack and its not too hard so you can
remember it

3. now choose a world -
   scania - crowded, hard to do party quests
   bera - crowded,{less crowded than scania}
   broa - full hackers
   windia - another hacker world
   bellocan - newest world, lesser scrolled items
   double click the world and choose a ch {recommended ch.1}

4.  now click create a character {the highest is 3 characters per world per account}

5. A boxes will appear:

LV.XX is the level you are.
Job is the job you have.
Name is the desired name you gave it.
HP bar shows your HP when 0 HP you die.
MP bar shows your MP when you run out of mp you can't use
magical attacks.
EXP bar shows your EXP. when reached 100% you level up
but you lose 2-10% when you die.

Cash Shop is if you bought Cash using Paypal.
Menu shows a list of options.
ShortCut is kinda like a faster way or getting in Equipment
or Items etc.

E-equipment I-items S-Ability (stats) K-skills
1st X- Key Config 2nd X- Hide Quick Slot

Chat- You can chat to other people using this and MapleTips
appear here. There are 2 modes to Chat.
1- Just see one line of talking. 2- See 2+ lines of writing
(you change how big the box is)
Minimap- Its like world map but smaller.
There are 3 modes to the Minimap.
1- Just where you are. 2- Just the map no name. 3- Both name and map.
Emergency Stuff- If there is like an emergency server check
or something, it appears here if people are online.

This is key config. This is where you can change your keys for
attacks/spells or PickUp etc.
When you first start Z is pickup, S is ability, CTRL is attack,
W is world map, M is Mini-map, C is Messenger
and ' is Chat+ which changes the chat modes.
1 is To all 2 is To Party 3 is To Friends/Buddies 4 is To Guild,
R is buddy list, P is party list and G is guild list.
Q is quest, E is equipment, I is inventory, X is sit,
[ is Shortcut, ] is QuickSlot and \ is Set Keys(This)
SLK is Screenshots.
F1-F7 are emotions.

 An INVENTORY HAS 20 or 24 SLOTS unless you increase it by 4SLOTS for 4K NX CASH.

 INVENTORY has different 5 bags EQUIP/USE/SET-UP/ETC/CASH

 EQUIP are for items that can be worn even though you can/can't wear them,
 theyre are still in that bag.

 USE are for throwing stars and pots (potions).
 SET-UP are for items that can be set(ted)-up when/where
 (some places you can't) you want. (exclude Cash Shop Item: Store)

 ETC are for items that doesn't go to any of the other bags.
 This is usually full because of all the quest/drops.

 CASH is a bag for all the items that are bought from the Cash Shop.
(Excludes some which are in Equip/Use/Etc/Set-up)

Menu is located at the bottom right of the screen next to ShortCut
and Cash Shop.

Change Channel - also known as CC. There are 20 Channels in Maple Story.
                 People usually tell you to CC if they can't share.
Game Option - In Game Option there are , Whisper, Chat With Friends,
              Chat Invite, Trade Request, Party Invite and Game Invite.
              You can turn these things ON or OFF.
System Option - In System Option you can change setting of your screen
                and other stuff.
Quit Game - Quits the account and goes to Login Screen.

f emotions

Emotions are used to show your feeling on your character.
To use emotions, you press F1-F7 or F1-F12 if you bought Cash Emotions.

 F1 is an angry emotion. It is automatically used when you are hit by a
    monster.
 F2 is a smile emotion. =D
 F3 is a whistle emotion.
 F4 is a crying emotion.
 F5 is an emotion with your jaws hanging down.
 F6 is a surprised emotion. o.O
 F7 is a -_- emotion.

F Cash Shop.

Cash Shop Is located between the Menu and the EXP bar.
In Cash Shop you can dress up yourself with different items but you
can only buy them if you have NX cash. To buy NX cash it costs
$5 for 5k NX $10 for 10k NX etc.
You also need Paypal or different type of credit card to buy it.

                        03 . Jobs

-----------------------------------------------------------

There are 5 different type of Jobs. The first one is Beginner which you
start off with and Warrior, Mage, Thief and Bowman. You choose one of
these when you are lvl 10. After you choose your first Job, you train
until you are stronger and takes 2 tests. The first one, you have to
be level 30+ to take the test and the second one, you have to be level 70+.
After you take these tests, you become stronger by advancing your Job.

a Tests

  The first test you have to talk to your leader and you get a letter
  and then you have to find your 2nd Job Instructor.
  Give the letter to him/her and then you will be transported to room
  of monsters where you have to collect 30 marbles.
  Once you do that, talk to the Instructor to get Proof Of A Hero Item.
  Give this to your leader and you get to choose your
  2nd Job Advancement. 

  The Second test is you have to talk to your cheif
  resident at El Nath and then go back to Perion/KerningCity/Henesys/Ellinia
  and talk to your leader. After that, you find Door
  of Dimension at different places (depending on job)
  which will bring u to a place.
  Defeat the leader's dark side to obtain the Black Charm
  which you exchange it for a Necklace of strength. Return to El
  Nath after that and give the Necklace to your chief resident.
  Head to the Holy Ground at the Snowfield (Sharp Cliff 2)
  and use 1 dark crystal then answer 5 questions to obtain the
  Necklace Of Wisdom. Then bring that to the chief resident.
  And choose your 3rd job.

TIP:
Assassins/Hermit uses stars. They are pretty powerful
until later on where they get weaker.
They use alot of money on stars and claws.
Bandit/Chief Bandit uses daggers. They are pretty weak
unless you buy good/scrolled daggers.
There are 2 types of bandits, Str Bandits and Luk Bandits.
Str bandits use Str daggers and is faster.
Luk bandits use Luk daggers and is stronger.
Most people are Sindit where they use stars
till they get decent damage with daggers.

                        04 . How To Make Money

-----------------------------------------------------------
To make good money, you need a decent amount of money first
and patience. But for Looting you need a good friend to help you.
There are 3 ways of making money.
1-Training
2-Quests
3-Merchant
4-Looting

 a Training
While training, you can find good drops. Always pick up the money
and pick up drops. Fight monsters that you can 1-2 Hit to kill because
you will waste lots of pots on a 3-4 Hit monster.(excludes BOSSES)
It is better to train on a monster that can drop 2-6 good drops than
to train on one that only has 1 good drop
EG:
Jr.Yeti - LvL50 - 3700HP - 135EXP - 200-300mesos - good drops:
                                                   Elixir
                                                   GLOVES FOR ATTK (60%)
                                                   CROSSBOWS FOR ATTK (10%),

Coolie Zombie - LvL57 - 4500HP - 180EXP - 273-408mesos - good drops:

In my case, the Coolie Zombie would be better but from what
 i heard dont go till ur 55-60+ or it will waste lots of pots for you,
  which means you lose some money and gain lesser profit.

Zombie Mushmom - Level 65 - 35k HP - Spawns ?? (MapleSEA only)

Crimson Balrog - Level 100 - 100k HP - Spawns On Ride to Ossyria/Ellina(Exclude Lego Ship)
Pianus - Level 110 - 24 Million HP/30 Million HP - Guild PQ

Some quests are good and give scrolls or pots that you can use/sell
Do quests that you can easily get the items.
Sometimes you should save a quest till your higher level.
So you don't waste that much pots/mesos.

which you can scroll or sell for 1-2MIL

A Merchant is a person who buys stuff cheap and sells them for higher price. Some time these
people are hated because they increase the price of items. (Mostly Scrolls)
 There are 2 types of Merchant -
 1: Buys Stars/Scrolls cheap then sells for 50k+. (Needs patience if they wanna make a high profit)
 2: Buys whole bunch of Stars/Scrolls for normal price and then waits a few months to sell for higher
    (which will be average so people would buy it)

Description: By increasing this, you'll recover more MP every 10 secs.
